Verge grass

Annually, 300,000 to 450,000 tons of grass, often from road verges and natural areas owned by government agencies, are composted in the Netherlands. This process causes negative environmental effects with the release of CO2, hydrogen, and methane. A more sustainable approach is the anaerobic digestion of grass. GR4SS converts these grass residues into biomethane,  high-quality peat substitutes for potting soil, liquid CO2 and green fertilizer.
